Below are professional development resources that have been vetted by the Professional Development Office and the College Wide Professional Development Committee, and can be used to satisfy your professional development obligation.

California Community Colleges Vision Resource Center | Vision for Success

Introducing the Vision Resource Center, a new portal dedicated to providing the exceptional support needed to meet the goals and commitments of the Vision for Success through the Guided Pathways framework.

The California Community Colleges Vision Resource Center offers a rich assortment of professional development and learning opportunities, all for free.
Here are just a few available resources:
  • COVID-19 resources
  • Personal wellness
  • Professional development/learning through LinkedIn Learning (previously Lynda.com), SkillSoft and @One
  • More than 10,000 online courses and playlists.
Here’s how to log in:
  1. Navigate to the Vision Resource Center site
  2. Click “Login” at the top right
  3. Under “User Login,” select “Grossmont-Cuyamaca” from the drop-down menu
  4. This will take you to the single sign-on site where you can enter your usual email/network credentials to log in.

Online Learning Module - Student Mental Health
Student Mental Health - The CCC SMHP is a partnership between the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office (CCCCO) and the Foundation for Community Colleges (FCCC). An interdisciplinary advisory group, named the Chancellor’s Office Advisory Group on Student Mental Health (COAGSMH) has been established to provide guidance and input on the CCC SMHP. The utilization of distance learning tools is an integral part of the technical assistance and training services. As part of the CCC SMHP TTA Project, webinars on relevant topics will be offered and marketed to the CCC system on a regular basis. Registration: Click here
